Brand
Perched along the iron shore of Turtle Tail in Turks & Caicos, Nivå is a collection of six exquisitely designed residences by Swedish architect Magnus Ström. Defined by its distinctive stepped architecture borne of the natural topography, each home is integrated into the landscape, creating a balance between interior and exterior spaces, between nature and built form. A refined interruption.

The name Nivå, Swedish for ‘levels,’ speaks to both the architect’s heritage and the distinctive stepped design of the homes. Our brand proposition, Refined Interruption, captures the striking contrast between the crisp, angular architecture and the rugged iron shore – acknowledging the interruption of nature while emphasising Windward’s commitment to doing so responsibly.

Having partnered with Windward since 2017 on their sister resort, South Bank, we were invited to help shape Nivå from the ground up. We developed the name and brand proposition before crafting the visual identity, website, and sales materials for across print and digital. The goal: to celebrate unapologetically contemporary architecture while staying true to Windward’s vision of considered, responsible luxury on the island they call home.

A name to work on many levels
Naming is always a challenge, but one we relish. Inspiration can come in many forms – location, heritage, culture, design, vision, or how simply how something makes you feel. For Nivå, the answer was clear: the stepped architecture, the site itself, and the architect’s Scandinavian roots all pointed us to a name that felt right – on many levels.
